Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies are and what this website does with them. The short version: this site does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are commonly used to keep you logged in, to remember preferences, or to follow what you do across pages and sites.
2. What this site sets
Nothing. Browsing ScamPreventionGuide.com does not place cookies on your device. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and no cookie that identifies you or remembers you between visits.
Because there are no non-essential cookies, there is nothing for you to consent to and no cookie banner to accept or reject.
3. No third-party tracking
We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, social media pixels, session recording, heatmaps or fingerprinting. We do not embed third-party fonts or scripts that would report your visit to another company. The fonts used on this site are served from our own server.
4. Server logs
Our hosting provider (Simply.com) automatically records standard request data, including IP addresses, for security purposes. These logs are kept for 30 days and are not used to build a profile of you or to track you across pages. This happens at the server level and does not involve cookies.
5. If you contact us
If you send us a message using the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, and we use it only to reply. That is described in our Privacy Policy. It does not involve cookies.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect this site, since it does not rely on cookies. It is still a sensible habit for the rest of the web.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce anything that sets a cookie or reports data to a third party, we will update this page first and put a working consent mechanism in place before switching it on — not afterwards.
